UPDATE: Woman found dead on north side of La Crosse

Second woman found dead in parking lot within week

Still no word on the identity of a woman whose body was found in a north La Crosse parking lot on Tuesday.

The woman was found dead around midday in a lot behind the Central States Warehouse, just north of Gillette Street.

It’s the second time in three days that city police have been called to investigate a female body in a parking lot.

A 29-year-old woman was found dead Sunday in another lot near downtown. Police believe that woman died from an overdose of an illegal drug.
