Woman runs into one-way sign, gets OWI after blowing .247

A good way to avoid police is to not drive over medians. Another tip would be to not run into the “one-way” sign while you’re driving over medians. 

La Crosse police watched Julia Namowicz do just that Friday evening as she tried to make a left onto Copeland Avenue.

A few blocks later, she made another left at a light on Third Street and hit another median, before being pulled over.

The Greenfield, Wis., woman was cited for OWI, blowing a .247. She was also in possession of narcotics.
