Longfellow Middle School awarded by Apple
Students, however, can no longer
use “dog ate homework” excuse
Pencils and paper are a thing of the past in schools. It’s no different at Longfellow Middle School in La Crosse.
Students there are using iPads for just about everything but gym class.
For its innovative use of computers in class, Longfellow has been named a ‘Distinguished School’ by the Apple on Monday at the Charmant Hotel.
Students said that having all their work on a computer prevents important papers from getting lost or damaged, though the dog could still chew up the iPad if need be.
