Work resumes on future roundabout site

The $1.5 million project scheduled for 2017

Crews have filled and compacted the areas where demolition for a new roundabout will get built in the city.

A couple of large voids were left behind near the corner of Seventh and Cass streets in December, after crews tore down six old buildings to make way for the future roundabout.

The $700,000 roundabout is part of about $1.5 million on improvements on Cass, between Fourth to Seventh streets.

The project is scheduled for next year.
