La Crosse police going after Clinton and Trump
Both have bills to pay from La Crosse visits
As Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump work towards wrapping up the presidential nominations in their respective parties, both have some unfinished business to attend to in La Crosse.
Both Clinton and Trump have bills that haven’t paid for visits they made to La Crosse prior to Wisconsin primary voting April 5.
According to the La Crosse Police Dept., the Trump campaign owes $12,180.01, while Clinton’s campaign owes $349.35 for police services.
Police said it’s leaning on local political parties to help get the money.
Around 200 listened to Clinton speak at Western Technical College on March 29, while 1,500 packed into the North Hall at the La Crosse Center on April 4.
