Cameron Park farmers’ market, and others, in full swing

The farmers’ market season shifts into high gear this weekend.

The Cameron Park farmers’ market begins at 4 p.m. tonight. The market will run through the end of October. The market will also run 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturdays.

“Cameron is popular,” La Crosse County health department staffer Jim Steinhoff said. “In addition to food, (it has) music and other entertainment.” 

There is also, now, a new $54,000 playground that was recently installed in the park.

Also running Saturdays is the La Crosse City Hall market from 6 a.m. to noon.

Another market in La Crosse takes place from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mondays near Wittich Hall on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.

There’s also a market in Hokah, Minn., Mondays from 3:30-6:30 p.m.

La Crescent’s market on Second Street begins Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
