Compares the growing rift to that
of Ron Paul supporters in the past

If it wasn’t obvious enough, there’s a growing rift between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters.

That’s not good news for Clinton, if she’s the Democratic nominee for president.

Patrick Boone, the Houston County Republican Party co-chair, says once Clinton gets the nomination, the pseudo-democrats backing Sanders will basically vanish.

He’s seen it with another former presidential candidate, who had a huge youth movement behind him.

“What’s going to happen with the Bernie Sanders supporters, they’re going to follow the pattern of Ron Paul supporters,” Boone said. “They’re going to fade out for the most part.”

Boone says Republicans won’t have that same problem because there was never a high level of excitement among young voters for the Republican presidential candidates.
