Trump scorned judge who ruled on case

SAN DIEGO — Nearly 400 pages of documents that detail sales strategies for the now-defunct Trump University have been unsealed in a class-action lawsuit.

The papers show how employees were instructed to play on peoples’ emotions to get them to buy more expensive seminars on how to succeed in real estate.

The documents were unsealed Tuesday in San Diego in the lawsuit by customers, who say they were defrauded.

Friday, a judge, who has earned Trump’s scorn, sided with attorneys for The Washington Post that the public has a right to know what was previously confidential.

The documents tell employees how to manage the “roller coaster of emotions,” with detailed scripts on what to say if a potential customer balks.

Trump has maintained that customers were generally satisfied with the offerings.
