Onalaska woman, drunk driving, had 4 kids in car

Witnesses saw her having trouble walking at beach, before leaving

A 27-year-old woman is accused of driving drunk with four young children in the car.

Witnesses say the Onalaska woman was on a beach near the La Crosse airport with the children on Sunday. She was having trouble walking and fell at least once.

Police stopped Pedrin’s car while she was driving the children and found that she had a blood alcohol level of .14.

She said that she had opened a can of beer on the beach and drank a beer earlier in the day.

She is being charged with driving drunk while minors were in the car.
