Mother accused of child abuse and strangulation
Visible marks found on her 4-month-old baby’s back
A mother is accused of shaking her 4-month-old infant then then attacking relatives who tried to stop her.
Dakota Bilderback, 20, is facing charges of child abuse and attempted strangulation.
“When her 14-year-old brother and mother confronted (Bilderback), she became violent and attacked the brother, strangling him,” assistant District Attorney Thaddeus McGuire said in court Thursday.
The La Crosse woman allegedly took the baby and drove away. When she was captured by police, she fought with jailers and there was a concern that she might try to kill herself.
Bruise marks were found on the baby’s back by police, before it was taken to a hospital.
“An officer noted visible marks on the child’s back that looked like fingerprints,” McGuire said. “The state is still waiting for medical information from the hospital and the extent of possible injuries.”
Bilderback’s bond was set at $1,000.

Don’t believe everything you read. This crap was made up; not true. People should not be able to make false accusations; just to get back at someone. This is a lie. So all of you talking crap; shut the hell up. She is a good mother; but has a shitty family telling lies.
