Camp Douglas teen in court for prank call that shut down Los Angeles airport

The 17-year-old claimed ISIS was going to bomb a plane

A Camp Douglas teenager, who succeeded in shutting down a Los Angeles airport terminal with a phone call, is getting ready to reach a plea agreement in Monroe County court.

Back in January, 17-year-old Byron, Wis., native Clint Terrell claimed to be a federal agent, warning LAX that ISIS might be trying to blow up a plane.

A terminal at the airport had to be cleared for about an hour.

His motive was part of an apparent initiation to get into a internet-hacking group.

A plea hearing scheduled for today is expected to be postponed, because of new charges against Terrell, perhaps even a federal crime. Terrell’s attorney is also reportedly asking for more time to prepare for that plea.
