Bomb threat in Sparta causes evacuation Northern Engraving

Threat discovered in men’s room around 10 a.m.

The work week had barely begun for employees at a Sparta factory when they were hustled out of the building Monday.

Somebody had left a bomb threat in a men’s room at Northern Engraving.

The threat was discovered around 10 a.m. and the plant was evacuated.

A bomb detecting dog from the state patrol was brought in, but no bomb was discovered.

The scare disrupted work for a brief time.

Sparta police are still investigating. Nobody has been charged.
