Top-paying jobs in Wisconsin are in medical field

If you want to make money in Wisconsin, get into the medical field, specifically, surgeon is the way to go.

Zippia.com says surgeons average nearly $250,000 a year.

The site uses Bureau of Labor Statistics information in a new report to identify the top-paying jobs in Wisconsin.

The Top 5 are all medical providers and all average paychecks somewhere north of $200,000.

Occupations like economics teachers, actuaries and marketing managers make more than a $100,000 according to the report.

Dentists are on that list of the Top 10. So are podiatrists and psychiatrists. Pharmacists are just outside the Top 10. 

Radio news reporters finish somewhere well outside the top 100. In fact, they may crack the bottom 100.
