Serial numbers missing on guns

Heroin and handguns found after a search at houses where there’s been suspected drug dealing in La Crosse.

La Crosse cops say they executed search warrants at 1347 Redfield St., 929 16th St. South and 854 Winneshiek Rd. They found an ounce of heroin, $500 and two guns – a .22 and a .40 caliber – with their serial numbers filed off.

Police have arrested 53 year-old Henry Swannagan and 31 year-old Antoine Hardie Jr. and charged the men with a variety of crimes including possessing guns as felons.  

Both are expected to be in court tomorrow.
