Wisconsin Libertarian party offers solutions to end conflict with police, citizens

Party says a culture of distrust has become norm

Everybody seems to have some ideas about how to deal with issues of police violence, including the Wisconsin Libertarian party.

The Libertarians say that a culture of distrust has become the new normal in the U.S. between citizens and police departments.

It says there is a path to a solution that will support police in their mission to protect and serve.

There are a couple different parts to this. First, it says all police officers need to have body cameras.

Second, the police needs to demilitarize. Lastly, and most importantly, the party says the U.S. needs to end its war on drugs.

All ways, it says, to end a culture of police violence in the U.S.
