Woman slams into guy’s car twice in parking lot and that’s not even the crazy part
Employee takes matters into own hands
Stephanie Hoth pleaded not guilty Thursday in an odd, what one might call a car accident in the parking lot of AudioMobile in La Crosse.
Joshua Dahl was backing out of the parking lot at the business around 2:30 p.m. June 24, when he heard another vehicle squeal its tires.
Before he knew it, a Mazda SUV had slammed into the passenger side door of his vehicle.
Dahl got out of his Dodge Magnum, thinking it was a typical accident. But, as the 44-year-old Onalaska man was walking toward the building, Hoth, who was driving the SUV, had put her vehicle in reverse, backed up about 50 feet, and slammed into Dahl’s car once again.
That’s not even the craziest part.
After that, Dennis Love, who is apparently an employee at AudioMobile, grabbed a rock off the dumpster and threw it through the Bangor woman’s rear passenger window, then demanded the 25-year-old Hoth give him her car keys. He was not wearing a Batman outfit, either.
Oddly enough, Hoth turned over her keys to Love without further incident.
When police arrived, Hoth played dumb – or dumber. She gave them no reason for slamming into the Dahl’s car twice. She refused a breath test, though police found a lot of alcohol in her car and arrested her for OWI, along with multiple other charges.
When Dahl was asked if he know who Hoth was, he said he had no idea.
Hoth will be scheduled for trial on charges of endangering another driver and driving while impaired.
