Three men with guns rob home, while grandmother is watching grandkids

VIROQUA, Wis. — A grandmother, watching her grandkids, were present when three armed robbers broke into their home in Viroqua around midnight Wednesday.

Three suspects, wearing masks, dark clothing and displaying handguns, didn’t harm the grandmother or her grandchildren, but did take multiple items from the home located on West Smith Rd.

The three – two white males and one black – took a safe with an undetermined amount of cash, along with an iPad mini and several video games, before fleeing. Police have not located them and are still investigating.

Vernon County sheriff John Spears stated in a release that “there is no danger to the public at this time.”
