One of 17 in drug trafficking ring pleads no contest
Sentencing happens in Sept.
She was one of 17 people charged last fall with taking part in a local meth ring that brought drugs into La Crosse from Minneapolis.
Out, after posting a $5,000 cash bound from that charge, Kojoua Vu was caught two months later, arrested with .5 pounds of meth and $20,000 in cash.
Today, Vu plead “no contest” to that drug possession charge from April. Sentencing is in September. The other charges from two arrests were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
Some of those dismissed charges included maintaining of a drug-trafficking place, manufactured delivering of meth and possession.
