Search dogs were called in

It started as a police chase that ended up, three hours later, a foot race through a corn field.

Eventually, Kyle Klimek and Tiffany Loomis were caught, now in jail in Whitehall, Wis., on several charges.

It started late Monday morning when the police chief of Independence, Wis., tried to stop a driver wanted on a probation warrant who was traveling on Hwy. 93.

The car sped away and sheriff’s officers later spotted the car abandoned in a field.

They brought in a search dog and arrested the Klimlek – the alleged driver – and Loomis about three hours later, as they emerged from a corn field.
