Ron Johnson could eat his words after Trump’s latest controversy
Democrats want Johnson to pull his support of Trump
Democrats are using Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson’s own words against him in hopes he pulls his support of Donald Trump.
Trump, of course, is in the midst of another controversy after his latest remarks disparaging a family whose son, an army officer, died fighting in Iraq in 2004.

And Democrats, including Senate candidate Russ Feingold, point to Johnson’s own words during a radio interview earlier this summer.
“Any individual that would be running for office, if they would say something that crosses a line and, in the end is so significant, so major, that you couldn’t support them, I would have to withdraw support from any individual,” Johnson said.
While Johnson has said he would support whomever became the Republican presidential nominee, the support for Trump was not a full endorsement.
