Once firefighters contained the blaze, they determined that the home was occupied at the time.

Authorities are also reaching out to the public for anybody that may have witnessed the blaze.

If anyone has any information about this house fire or had driven past the residence on Valley Avenue North of Valley on Sunday or early Monday, please contact the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office at 1.800.637.2123.
