way down, left with concussion

Andrew Gunderson was mad La Crosse police gave him an underage drinking citation.

When the officer handed the 20-year-old his ticket, Gunderson berated him with F-bombs. Gunderson did this this from the hospital.

The La Crosse man was there because he fell off the second-story balcony at the Hive Apt. on State St. Saturday night.

Hit a car on his way down, too. Landed six inches from the curb. Knocked unconscious.

Gunderson ended up with just a and a few scratches … and the underage fine.

When the officer first handed him the citation, Gunderson told him “Are you (bleeping) kidding me?”

After some explanation, he told the cop, “You can scoot.” And then a bit later, “Get the (bleep) out.”

The officer restrained himself from giving Gunderson a disorderly for the tirade.

Maybe because he did just fall 17 feet, 10 inches. Witnesses said he was sitting on the railing before falling.

Gunderson said he didn’t remember what happened. He also blew a .205.
