TOMAH, Wis. — An 18-year-old driver slammed into the back of a school bus this morning, injuring more than a dozen people – mostly students.

The bus was stopped when Corrin Jorgensen rear-ended it on Hwy. 21. Her car went underneath the bus and the Jaws of Life were needed to rescue her.

Jorgensen was taken to the hospital in Tomah, having suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and more than a dozen passengers were treated for minor injuries.

The crash led to detours of workers headed to nearby Fort McCoy.
