Two La Crosse residents face drug charges after bust

Drugs estimated over $24,000 on streets 

A drug bust in La Crosse over the weekend turned up thousands in cash and drugs, and now two people are facing charges. 

Several agencies executed search warrants on two La Crosse addresses and one Onalaska address.

Douglas and Juanita Owens of La Crosse have been charged with conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.

Evidence included 34 grams of heroin, over 500 grams of marijuana, and 84 grams of crack and powder cocaine found on Juanita following a cavity search. 

Police say the bust is part of a larger 18 month investigation, and more arrests are expected.
