The main event tonight.

Donald Trump versus Hillary Clinton. On stage. The first Presidential debate.

It begins at 8 p.m. and can be heard on AM 1410.

The debate could have a big impact in Wisconsin, as compared to other states.

The candidate who looks good could really move the needle in this election, says La Crosse County Republican Party chair, Bill Feehan.

“There are three times as many undecided voters at this stage of the election, as there were in 2012,” Feehan said. “That means Wisconsin is certainly up for grabs and I think the results of the debate will probably make a difference for a lot of those people.”

Wisconsin, says Feehan, is now seen as one of the key states that Trump or Clinton have to win to emerge the winner in November.

And this debate may even be more important than the others, because, come Debate No. 2 on Oct. 9 – there are three debates, the last coming Oct. 19 – Clinton and Trump will also be competing with Packers-Giants on Sunday night football.
