It’s crazy time in La Crosse.

Oktoberfest is about to get into full swing and the city is doing a couple things to help keep you safe.

First, the aid station will be open Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. It’s located in the Subway parking lot at Pearl and Third streets.

Festgoers can head to the white trailer to charge cell phones, get water, get information or just make it a basic meeting place.

This is the 10th year its been in place, put on by the La Crosse Police Dept. and other sponsors.

The city is also continuing its river watch – something that happens year round – which is also in its 10th year.
