Body of missing Onalaska woman recovered
Sister reported her missing on Monday
The search for a missing woman in Onalaska has ended with the discovery of her body.
Stephanie Hass apparently died in her car, which was found in southern La Crosse County on Tuesday.
Onalaska police believe she took her own life.
Hass disappeared over the weekend, sending a text to her employer saying that a family emergency would keep her away from work.
Police had asked for help in the public in trying to find Hass.
Hass’ sister had reported her missing.
