Trump, on tape, making crude, sexually aggressive comments about women
Trump says Bill Clinton has said way worse at the golf course
Donald Trump is issuing an apology in the most Donald Trump way Friday after video released show him making lewd, sexually charged comments about women in 2005.
“Trump reacted quickly and defensively, The Washington Post reported, offering a non-apology — “I apologize if anyone was offended” — and tried to shift the focus elsewhere. “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump claimed.”
Trump issued the statement after The Washington Post revealed the video of Trump caught on a hot mic while talking with Billy Bush of “Access Hollywood.”
Trump is heard saying he “did try and f**k her,” referring to an unknown woman.
From Politico:
In the tape, Trump boasts of trying to have sex with a married woman, aggressively kissing attractive women — “I don’t even wait,” he brags — and grabbing at their genitals.
“And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump told Bush. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want?” an off-camera voice that appears to Bush replies.
“Grab them by the pu**y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
Trump has a long history of making crude comments about women.
Hillary Clinton responded on Twitter, “This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to be president.”
Clinton has said that Trump has shown a lack of respect for women, noting during the first presidential debate that he insulted a former Miss Universe. She has said it’s a reason why he’s unfit to be president.
