Caledonia looking to get to state for ninth time in last 10 seasons
Caledonia has won six state titles in last nine seasons

That sums up the Caledonia High School football team’s success in recent history.
The top-ranked Warriors (10-0) in Class 2A are looking to get back to the Minnesota state tournament tonight for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons.
You can listen to the game live from RCTC beginning at 8 p.m. on Classic Hits 94.7 or online here. The Warriors rematch with Zumbrota-Mazeppa (8-2), a team they beat 47-0 on September 30.
A win will be Caledonia’s 25th in a row.
Before the Caledonia game, playing now is fifth-ranked Spring Grove (9-1) and Grand Meadow (10-0) in Class 9-man.
The Superlarks have won 31 consecutive games, including a 47-34 on Oct. 19 over Spring Grove – their last matchup. GM has won last three state titles and lost in the championship in 2012.
The last time SG beat GM was 22-20 on Oct. 12, 2012. SG last went to state in 2011.
Sixth-ranked Winona and Kasson-Mantorville play at Rochester Mayo at 7 p.m. in Class 4A.
Saturday, in Class 1A No. 9 Rushford-Peterson (9-1) takes on Fillmore Central (9-1) at 5 p.m. at RCTC.
In Wisconsin, Pepin-Alma heads to Bangor, while Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau hosts St. Croix Central. Both games are at 7 Friday.
