Last two-term mayor came back in 2001

Today, Tim Kabat will make his plans official during a news conference at Myrick Park.

If he were to win in the spring, Kabat would become La Crosse’s first two-term mayor since John Medinger won re-election in 2001.

Mark Johnsrud lost his bid for a second term in 2009 and successor Matt Harter chose to serve just one term.
