Among those not lining up for a seat in the president-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet is Scott Walker.

The Wisconsin Governor was asked about taking a cabinet position during his Facebook Live chat late last week.

“The simple answer is no,” Walker said. “I’ve been asked a number of times by the media … and those involved in the president-elect’s administration.”

Walker says he loves being governor and can be much more effective if he simply continues doing that job.

Walker has yet to announce whether he’ll seek a third term in office but some have suggested his Facebook Live comments are a hint that he might be close to that announcement.

He does enjoy that some of his colleagues from Wisconsin are moving into White House positions.

“I love the fact that Reince Priebus, a fellow cheesehead, is going to be the chief of staff for the next president,” Walker said. “And, Paul Ryan, who grew up right down the road from me,

is the Speaker of the House.

I feel my best role will be right here in the state of Wisconsin.”

Walker says he loves being governor but, if he’s not planning on running again, he’ll only be governor for another couple of years.
