She sent the money but the product isn’t on its way.
A 26-year-old La Crosse woman sent $2,370 in checks through Western Union to a woman in Baltimore for a Pomeranian puppy.
The woman saw an ad on a Facebook page, which police say was littered with misspellings. She went to police when the puppy didn’t arrive within a week.
