Arrest made in Westby area robbery

Other arrests pending, suspects in custody

Multiple arrests from a July armed robbery in the Westby area.  

Vernon County sheriff’s office says 18-year-old Ramon TL Washington has been arrested for his role in an armed robbery back on July 19.  

He was arrested in La Crosse.

Also be arrested for the robbery, 23-year-old Paris J. Whittington and 17-year-old Dakota J. Fair.

Those two are currently in jail on other charges. Whittington in La Crosse and Fair in Milwaukee.  

The three men are accused of forcing their way into a home on West Smith Rd. in the town of Viroqua late that night and robbing a woman and her grandchildren at gunpoint.  

They got away with a safe, some cash and some electronics. Nobody was hurt in the robbery or home invasion.

The Vernon County sheriff’s office says the robbery is still under investigation.
