Man could get 4th OWI after driving into Cliffside Dr. apt.
Told police he slammed vodka from a sippy cup
If convicted of a hit-and-run, where he crashed into an apartment building, it will be his fourth OWI.
It was around 4 a.m. Saturday, when Christopher Lorenz put his Ford Ranger through a female’s apartment on Cliffside Drive in La Crosse.
When police caught up with him at his home on County M, he told them had – conveniently – just just slammed a bunch of vodka out of a sippy cup before they arrived. One problem with his story. Or, two problems, actually.
No sippy cup. No bottle of vodka.
The 43-year-old La Crosse man blew a .146 and was charged with that 4th OWI, along with possession, hit and run and reckless driving.
