Presidential recount postponed until Monday

The gap in the 32nd District State Senate race has, apparently, widened.

In Monroe County, Dan Kapanke lost six votes during the recount completed Wednesday, while Jennifer Shilling lost just one vote.

Unofficially, incumbent Shilling now leads Kapanke by 59 votes now, as La Crosse and Vernon counties are still recounting.

In La Crosse, the Senate recount will continue Thursday, while the presidential recount in the county has been postponed until Monday.
