Drivers 60 and up involved in 400,000 crashes a year

When you’re young, at some point parents have “the talk” about the birds and the bees.

Jarmusz says a recent study shows that people over age 60 years old that fall are 40 percent more likely to get into crash than their peers. Drivers 60 and older are involved in 400,000 crashes a year.

“Have a very open and honest discussion, but one that’s focused on evaluation and steps that can be taken for prevention,” Jarmuz said.

He, of course, didn’t offer any insight on how to broach such a topic.
