Easter help for needy families at Logan High today
Good available in room 223 from 3-7 p.m.
An opportunity for families to get help with Easter dinner will take place this afternoon at Logan High School.
From 3-7 p.m., community members may go to room 223 at the high school and pick up fresh produce, dairy products and baked goods. Also available are canned and boxed foods.
The school was just approved as a Hunger Task Force Food Pantry distribution site and is called The Logan Table. It will be open Thursdays and Fridays after school.
The pantry was initially started to help students and families who have barriers accessing food for their home.
Staff says they are expecting to get a refrigerator in the pantry soon to be able to provide meat, produce and dairy, as well.
