Waffle Batter

3 C flour

1 Tbsp baking powder

3 Tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 C buttermilk

2 C whole milk

2 eggs

1 Tbsp melted unsalted butter

1 C egg whites whipped to stiff peaks

 

Sift dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Mix the eggs and wet ingredients, reserve the butter. Fold together wet and dry ingredients. Fold in the egg whites and melted butter.
