Public comments for La Crosse Center renovations today, Wed.
No drawings will be presented at any of four meetings.
The first public session on the La Crosse Center renovations will take place today.
There will be four so-called “visioning sessions” on the $40 million upgrades, beginning at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. today in the Patrick Zielke Suite at the Center. Two more will take place at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wed.
The sessions will be conducted by the architect firms hired to conduct the renovations, ISG and Gensler.
“They’ll be coming back with some concepts after this,” La Crosse Center director Art Fahey said, adding the architects will take public comments as part of the year-long process of revising the plans before remodeling begins.
“We won’t be presenting any drawings yet, but that’s what the purpose is, to gather up some information on this,” Fahey said.
