Indiana doesn’t want La Crosse woman who once made news for crashing into Burger King

It looks like the state of Indiana doesn’t want a La Crosse woman after all.
Judge Scott Horne says police there have changed their minds about trying to take Kiara Kiesow back to Indiana for violating her probation on meth possession charges.
Last week, Kiesow had agreed to be transported back. A few days later, however, French Island police found the 27-year-old lying face down in a park, after apparently smoking drugs and stealing a truck.
Kiesow made news in 2013 in La Crosse, crashing into a Burger King after drinking and huffing.
Horne set Kiesow’s next court hearing for early June to see whether Indiana would still want to prosecute her.
Brandon Adams
What was a sexual assault suspect in La Crosse trying to do when he sent a message to his former employer?
The District Attorney’s office suspects that Brandon Adams might have been trying to intimidate possible witnesses in his case.
Thursday, the 30-year-old Adams pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who had worked with him at a fast-food place. Adams asked a former boss for some information and his attorney, Dan Lenihan, said the message was misinterpreted.
The attorney says Adams is not going to use any cellphones to try contacting the teenager. He lost job at the restaurant after his arrest and is scheduled to start working in construction next week.
