UW-L women’s T&F sending 9 to NCAA championships

Eagles two years removed from NCAA team title.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is just two years removed from an NCAA Division III women’s track and field championship.

This weekend, the Eagles send nine athletes to the NCAA championships in Geneva, Ohio. 

That list of qualifiers includes seniors Kendra Antony, Mallory Hall, Elizabeth May and Courtney Purcell, juniors Jenna Franzwa and Elizabeth Frick, sophomores Betsy Schreier and Tore Washa and freshman Brittany Jaeger.

Last year, UW-L placed fourth. The Eagles have three championships (2015, 1984, 1983) since its been in the NCAA.

Individually, UW-L has had 25 individual or relay national champions.
