La Crosse woman given award at state Rep. Party convention

“You have that feeling, once you’ve had the opportunity to talk to him one on one,” Lynch said.

Awarded largely for her efforts to get Donald Trump elected president, La Crosse’s Sue Lynch is still more than happy to support him.

Lynch was given the inaugural Terry Kohler award for leadership at the recent state Republican Party convention.

Lynch’s steadfast support for Trump and leadership of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women got her there.

She has no doubts about her conviction for the president.

“I am just wild and crazy excited after coming off of his first foreign trip last week, I just smiled every day,” she said.

Lynch, who has met and talked with the president three times by her count, says “at his heart” Trump truly wants America to be great again.  

“You have that feeling, once you’ve had the opportunity to talk to him one on one,” she said.

Trump’s win was the first Wisconsin Republican presidential victory in the state since 1984.
