Gov. Walker in La Crosse promoting new veteran business logo

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was in La Crosse again. 

Tuesday, Walker accompanied the Wisconsin Dept. of Veterans Affairs, touring Wisconsin for Veteran Owned Business Day. 

Zimmerman and Walker introduced a new Wisconsin Veteran Owned Business logo, which those businesses can use to market themselves.

Walker said the goal is to help other veterans find jobs. He cited scientific evidence that veterans are 30 percent more likely to hire other vets.

Veterans can go here to certify their business.
