La Crosse County suffers second-most amount of damage from storms
State suffered nearly $14 million in public property damage.
The damage estimates from last week’s storms in La Crosse County continue to grow.
A state report says La Crosse County accounts for $4.5 million of the nearly $14 million in public property damage from bad weather in southwest Wisconsin.
Only Monroe County had a higher amount of damage in the region.
Grant County reports the most damage to private homes, with five homes destroyed and about 500 affected by flooding or other weather effects.
