La Crosse man continues recent trend of internet sex arrests

At least 3 men charged in the county this month with trying to meet kids online

Another area man is facing charges of trying to meet up with underage kids on the internet.

Sixty-one-year-old Edward Diamond of La Crosse is accused of attempted sexual assault of a child and attempted sex trafficking. 

Diamond will be charged officially on Monday. 

He’s been released from jail on a $10,000 cash bond, and is ordered not to use computers or the internet while he’s on house arrest. 

At least two other men in their 60’s have been charged this month in La Crosse County court with similar sex offenses involving computers.
