Christmas light display begins for 23rd year

Santa Claus threw the switch to signal fireworks in Pettibone Park, and turn on the Rotary Lights display in Riverside Park.

La Crosse had record-setting warm weather for November 24th on Friday, and rain held off until just before the brief lighting ceremony at the Riverside bandshell.

The 3 million light spectacle continues every night through New Year’s Eve.
