Officer on administrative leave in West Salem, now leaving police dept.
Not being disciplined and no reason for his absence from chief
WEST SALEM, Wis. — So far, the reason why a West Salem police officer has been put on administrative leave is being kept secret.
And, that officer will not be staying with the police department.
West Salem police chief Charles Ashbeck will not comment on why Anthony LaMore was placed on leave.
He did, however, say in an email that LaMore was not facing any disciplinary procedure.
Ashbeck says LaMore, a full-time officer with the department for three years, and one of only five full-time officers for West Salem, will “seek employment elsewhere.”
He will officially depart the force Dec. 23.
