Suspect for murder of brothers was already facing strangulation charge
25-year-old was caught in Tomah last week
The murder suspect, who was caught in Monroe County on Friday, was already facing a charge of trying a strangle a woman last year in southern Wisconsin.
Nathan Kivi of Kenosha County was stopped by officers near Tomah, Wis., last week and was jailed as the suspect in the shooting deaths of two brothers outside a Twin Lakes, Wis., bar. Online court records do not show any new charges filed yet against Kivi for the murders of Kenneth and Richard Samuel outside of Beach Bar.
Kivi pled not guilty in August to a strangulation charge dating back to December of 2016 in Walworth County.
The 25-year-old was accused of attempting to choke a woman he knows and threatening that if she told police, he would go out in a blaze of glory.
No trial date has been set for that case.
