Bundle Up Campaign unloads winter gear to needy in La Crosse

The Big Bundle Up campaign came through big with winter gear.

Around 1,500 items were dropped off in La Crosse by the Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism.

“Sometimes things will go to schools,” Drew Nussbaum with the department said. “A lot of times, homeless shelters. It’s really anyone out there who is in need or knows folks who are in need.”

You can donate items yourself through Jan. 1 at the visitor center in Riverside Park.

The items included coats, hats, gloves and other winter gear.
