Gundersen pledges $100k over 3 years to Coulee Council new facility
It was a big $100,000 check, both literally and figuratively.
The pledge from Gundersen Health System in La Crosse will be spread out over three years to help build the Coulee Council on Addictions new facility.
The donation for the building on Ferry St., which is under construction, is part of $3.1 million raised by the recovery center in the past year. The facility is located on land leased from Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare, under a long-term agreement.
The new facility will be twice the size of the council’s current building on West Ave. and is expected to open in July.
